The best fun fundraising ideas are those where you get to be with friends and have fun while you are selling and that also have really fun fund raising products that you can sell. And while we at Go Green Fundraising haven’t yet figured out a way to get everyone a friend to do their selling with, we have come up with some really cool fundraisers and fundraising products that make things more enjoyable and inevitably more successful.
Two of our most fun fund raising ideas are the flower bulb fundraiser and our Smencils program. Both have products that people love and that are easy to sell. They both also offer a flat 50% profit for your group which can go a long way towards helping you meet your goals.
The flower bulbs are a great, eco-friendly way to raise money. Obviously the vast majority of people like flowers and enjoy seeing, planting, and growing flowers so that makes it amazingly easy to sell them. The other really neat thing about our flower fundraising program is that we have a line for the fall and then another one for the spring so that you can sell flowers almost any time of year.
The Smencils fundraising is an amazingly popular idea with younger groups, especially schools. These recycled newspaper standard #2 pencils are cute and fun and, at only $1, inexpensive. School aged kids like collecting them and having at least one of each of the ten scents that are available.
