There are really only two ways to do a preschool fundraiser. You can either do in school fundraisers, which we will explain later, or you can do a traditional fundraiser where the students (i.e. their parents) take brochures to conduct the sale away from the school and outside of school hours. Both can be very successful if you find the right preschool fundraising ideas to use.
An in school fundraiser can be a number of things but it has to take place on school grounds. You could have a preschool carnival or a carwash or you could do something like our Smencils fundraiser. One of the benefits to doing your fundraiser on the preschool campus is that none of the young students will be pressured to go door-to-door selling which can be dangerous. Another is that having everyone come together in one place to raise money can create a sense of excitement about your preschool fundraiser which can lead to better results.
Smencils are probably the least intrusive of all of the preschool fundraising ideas because you can just place buckets of the pencils in each classroom and have students buy them as they need them throughout the school year.
For a more traditional preschool fundraising idea that uses brochures we tend to suggest our Coffee and Tea fundraiser or the Earth Candles fundraiser. Both have products that are incredibly easy to sell which can be a problem with more complicated student fundraising programs. These are also common choices for pre school fundraisers because you will earn a guaranteed 50% profit with each program which can help you raise a lot of money very quickly.
