You may or may not already know that there are basically two types of product based fundraising programs; one with items you buy up front and the other which uses catalogues for you to pre sell products. Nearly all fundraising ideas will fall into one of these two categories. What you may not know is there is a bunch of different ways that you can pay for your fundraisers.
This article in our How to do Fundraisers series is going to help you understand the many different types of payment that Go Green Fundraising accepts for your groups fund raiser order. The same payment methods are accepted no matter which type of fundraiser you choose to do. So for the rest of this page, if you see a payment method, you can be sure that it is available to your group.
The most common way to pay for your order is with a check. We accept personal checks as well as business checks. When you are selling products, you will want your customers to write checks out to you or your group so that you can write one check to Go Green Fundraising. If you want to pay for your order with a check, simply mail it to us at PO 839, Mansfield, TX 76063. We do not accept electronic checks at this time.
Another extremely common payment method is with a credit card. At this time, we accept Visa and MasterCard. If you are buying a “pay-up-front” product, you can use our secure online store to pay for your items on the web. Otherwise, we can take credit card information over the phone. We do not store this information anywhere.
If you are doing public school fundraisers, you have the option of paying with a purchase order with 30 day terms. That means that the office will need to create a purchase order for you and you will then have 30 days to submit payment to us. Again, this option is only available to public schools.
Other acceptable forms of payment include cashier’s checks and money orders.
