Successfully fundraising for student organizations can be much easier than you might expect based on what you have heard or even experienced with past fund raisers if you take the time to get things organized before you ever begin the actual student fundraising programs. Stay Organized
For most PTA moms or student organization sponsors, the concept of staying organized just comes as second nature but this is key for even the most organized people. You want to know how many people are going to be selling, who will be selling, what dates you want to start, end, and turn in your fundraiser, how the money will be collected, what the money will be used for, etc. It can be a lot to keep track of but doing so can keep your school fundraisers on track through almost anything.
Get Help
We understand that you are capable of doing anything and everything all the time with no help needed. But in this case, it just makes sense to get some help. With all of the things to keep track of, having a helper or two who can help you collect orders and manage the distribution of products and disseminate information can make your life, and the students fundraiser, so much easier and more profitable too. In fact, it is a great idea to put together a fundraiser team with each person being assigned specific tasks.
Keep Everyone Informed
Keeping everyone informed is hugely important for a number of reasons. One of the biggest is that people feel more important when they know what is happening and feeling needed is a great motivator. By having everyone feel as if their contribution matters (which it invariably does) you can insure that all participants will give you 100% effort.
