Go Green Fundraising is the first fundraising company to offer customers live tree fundraisers. It is one of the more green fund raising ideas ever. As you can see on our Tree Fundraising page, we offer 3 options for customers to pick. We have 2 trees that come as 1 year old, 12″ tall sapplings packed in plastic tubes with a small amount of soil. We also offer a seed kit foryou to plant your own tree seed.
Many customers have asked if the trees will grow in their specific area. The 3 trees that we carry were chosen for their broad habitats and everyone should be able to plant the trees in their area.
For Cold Climates
Our growers recommend that for extremely cold climates that the trees be planted before the ground is frozen solid. Our treee farm is located in Colorado and we plant trees up until late October. As long as you can water the trees 3 or 4 times before the ground freezes, your tree will be fine.
For Hot Climates
Our headquarters are located outside of Dallas, Texas. We planted one of our first trees in the middle of July on a day that reached 110 degrees and the tree did absolutely fine. Again, as long as the tree is receiving a reasonable amount of water, it will do great.
